Explore Japan’s capital city and dive into the contrasts of the country’s rich cultural heritage that coexists in harmony with the latest in technology and fashion.

2. Queenstown, New Zealand

The town is the home of adventure in New Zealand, need I say more? Apart from enjoying great hospitality and stunning scenery, a normal day in Queenstown might involve throwing yourself from bridges or airplanes. If you wish to do so, of course.

3. Byron Bay, Australia

A charming and laid-back beach town, Byron Bay is a mandatory stop for those travelling along the East Coast of Australia. It’s perfect for those lazy days in the sun followed by bar hopping in the evenings.

4. Santorini, Greece

The Insta-worthy Santorini coast, famous for its whitewashed houses topped with blue ceilings and covered by bougainvilles, is already a good reason to visit the island. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to enjoy excellent Greek food as well as the most unforgettable sunsets you’ll see in your lifetime.

5. Split, Croatia

Home to Diocletian’s Palace, a Unesco Heritage site, Split mixes modern and ancient living and is the hub to the unmissable island hopping and national park tours.

6. Beachcomber, Fiji

If you aren’t doing an island hopping, then you should at least spend a couple of nights at Beachcomber Island. Covered in lush trees and surrounded by pure white sand, this Fijian island is a haven for relaxation during the day but comes alive once the sun goes down.

7. Buenos Aires, Argentina

Let yourself be swept off your feet by the charm of Argentina’s capital, the bustling streets are full of history and the nightlife is just like no other.

Volcano hikes, blue lagoons, geyser springs…you’ll be spoilt for choice in Iceland’s capital which also happens to be one of the places where you can see the astonishing Northern Lights.

Rio is the perfect destination combo: fantastic weather all-year-round, breathtaking scenery, amazing beaches and fun-filled nightlife.

Perfect for adventure-seekers, Isla Holbox is a small picturesque island in the Yucatán Peninsula three hours away from the popular Cancun, it can be easily explored by bike or golf cart which is the island’s main mode of transportation.

Situated in the south of Portugal, the Algarve’s rugged coastline is dotted with dramatic ochre cliffs and is home to picture-perfect locations such as Lagos, Sagres and the Benagil Caves.

Whether you’re looking for a budget friendly ski holiday or some adventure hiking in the summer, Bansko has it all! Bulgaria is generally overlooked by mass tourism, so the small village feel makes this the perfect getaway for some time in the great outdoors.

A foodie heaven, Bologna and its famous porticoes lead the way towards the many restaurant terraces that are beaming with people sipping on their aperitivi whilst enjoying the gorgeous Mediterranean summer weather.

Nestled in a spectacular location, Machu Picchu is one of the world’s most famous archeological sites and is a must-see on anyone’s itinerary.

Nepal’s capital sits at the foot of the Himalayans, having the majestic mountains as its backdrop. Apart from incredible temples and historical sites, Kathmandu is also the starting point for those that choose to trek up the mountains.

Looking for a relaxed island back-packer type of getaway? Then Caye Caulker will feel like home. Surrounded by stunning turquoise waters, spend your day having cocktails at the split or going on a snorkeling trip. The evenings are spent enjoying delicious fresh seafood in the small family owned shacks and bar hopping.

Not only are there lots of hikes, including the world’s second largest boiling lake, you can also go whale watching here! Sperm whales have made this their home year-round so your chances of seeing them are great.

Trekking through the rainforest? Swimming under waterfalls? Relaxing on the beach? Costa Rica has it all, so if you’re an outdoorsy type, the country should definitely be on your bucket list.

21. Ghent, Belgium

Ghent’s historical town centre is vibrant and full of culture. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants spread along the main canal where you can taste what the Belgians do well: great beers and mouth-watering frites and waffles.

22. Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

A stunning lake surrounded by volcanoes and in one of my favorite adventure destinations, Guatemala. Explore the various Mayan villages and small towns surrounding this massive crater lake by water taxi and enjoy beautiful sunsets.

A bustling city with tons of marketplaces, mosques, gardens and palaces for you to explore and if these weren’t enough, hot-air balloon rides and a visit to the Sahara Desert are also on the cards to those visiting Marrakech.

It’s hard to pick just one place to visit in India as the diversity of landscapes in the whole country can offer remarkable experiences that will heighten all of your senses with its richness of colours, tastes, scents and music.

29. San Blas, Panama

This archipelago is a stunning set of 365 islands located off the coast of Panama City, Panama. Spend a few days sailing through and you’ll get to see incredible night skies, crystal clear waters, and feel like you’re somewhere remote in the South Pacific.

30. The Dead Sea, Asia

Located in the border between Jordan and Israel, the Dead Sea is, in fact, a salt lake. It’s believed to have healing and rejuvenating properties, so much so that it’s used in a variety of beauty products. You can have a dip in the sea and test these claims out for yourself.
